IL&FS Engineering Services is a strategic investor along with GVK Group, NCC and IJM, in 464 MW (Phase-I) gas based combined cycle power plant at Peddapuram, East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh state of India. |

| Power Generation Process |
||||||||||||
The GPL power project facility is a dual fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) comprising two gas turbine generators and one steam turbine generator, all manufactured by Alstom with a capacity of 464 MW. A significant advantage of CCPPs is that the units can be installed in stages with short lead times and the installation of multiple generating units facilitates part load operation, thereby complying with dispatch instructions. The entire power generated would be sold to AP Transco. |
