 Project Overview
 

With the objective of increasing hydro power capacity in India, GoI has launched the 50,000MW Hydro-electric initiative , out of which more than half the capacity has been identified in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. GoAP has earmarked certain projects for allocation to private developers for development of hydro power projects.

In tune with this concept, IL&FS Engineering Services Assets has joined hands with KVK Energy to set up a 60 MW Dardu Hydro Power Plant in the Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh on BOOT basis. IL&FS Engineering Services is the Lead Partner to execute the project.

 
 Cost and Timeline
 
The total cost for setting up the Project is Rs. 463 crores and is expected to be completed by 2014 as per the Pre-feasibility Report.
